A compilation highlighting what a day in Geneva is like.
This video takes in the sights and sounds of the the city, showing you just how much is going on in the city.
Starting off with an early arrival in to Geneva Airport see if you can spot the lake as the plane lands and a short train journey in to town, it isnt long before youre right in the centre of action and can see everything from historical churches to the Palais des Nations.
If youve never been before this is just a snapshot of how diverse Geneva is and what youll find around every corner.
Top attractions to see in the city include the famous Lake Geneva, Mount Saleve, the Patek Philippe Museum and the Museum of Natural History.
Its a great city for those who like to get about by foot as many attractions are quite close to one another, but there is a very robust transport system that is mainly trams and buses.
It doesnt take too long to get from one end of the city to the other.
The city is also great for those who like the outdoors as there are a number of different parks and jardins which are dotted around town.
Two of the best are Parc Des Bastions and Le Jardin Anglais, although a walk by any stretch of the lake is a great way to spend an afternoon.
Id recommend visiting in the spring as the brisk mornings and calmer weather in the early evening is best.
And dont forget that in Switzerland it is the Swiss Franc that is used and not the Euro A Franc is worth roughly 1USD and 70p in the UK on average.
